Bridging Genomic Medicine
to Rural Communities
In China's vast mountainous regions, there exists a group of special children and their families who face tremendous challenges in diagnosing rare diseases. In China, the widespread lack of professional knowledge about rare diseases among primary-level physicians has led to the common occurrence of misdiagnosis and improper treatment. For example, over 30% of rare disease patients need to consult 5 to 10 doctors before receiving a confirmed diagnosis. In underserved areas, 58.15% of rare disease patients have experienced misdiagnosis, with 35.20% having been misdiagnosed more than 5 times. Difficulty in accessing medication is another major hurdle faced by rare disease patients. Globally, most rare diseases have no available treatment, and less than 5% of rare diseases have therapeutic drugs. Even when such drugs exist, patients still have to bear exorbitant costs, resulting in a heavy financial burden.
Our "Bring me to You" project was born from this reality—we are committed to bringing genetic testing technology to the mountain families who need it most, letting the light of science illuminate families bewildered by rare diseases. With internationally renowned geneticist Professor Shen Yiping joining our team consisting of high-school rare disease advocate, social entrepreneurs and social workers, we offered free charitable genetic testing and diagnosis for 16 families, who deserve an answer that has been long forgotten.

Our Mission
We want to provide free & precise genetic disorder diagnosis services for special needs children and their families in remote mountainous areas of China, and ensure every family tripled by rare diseases can obtain scientific answers they deserve and hope for treatment.
We are committed to bridging the urban-rural healthcare gap by bringing top-notch genetic testing technology and expert resources directly to where they are needed most, making science a force for changing destinies, while making close and warm connections with local families.
Our Vision
We aspire to establish a nationwide grassroots genomic medicine service network, ensuring that "no county is forgotten by science." Through our innovative "medical-educational-rehabilitation-prevention" integrated model, we hope to cultivate a team of local medical professionals who cannot be taken away, establish sustainable telemedicine collaboration mechanisms, and ultimately achieve comprehensive popularization of genomic medicine at the grassroots level, allowing every mountain child to equally enjoy the benefits of modern medical advances.

We Believe That:
"Every child, whether born in a bustling city or a quiet mountain village, deserves the same chance at a healthy future.
Distance should never determine destiny."
